Periasamy Selvaraj received his Ph.D. from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. He did his postdoctoral fellowship in cell adhesion receptors of the immune system at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Boston under the supervision of Dr. Timothy A. Springer. Currently, Dr. Selvaraj is a Professor of Pathology in the School of Medicine of Emory University in Atlanta, GA. His laboratory focuses on developing therapeutic cancer vaccines using novel protein transfer approaches. He has published more than 90 research papers in national and international journals including Nature, Science, Blood and Cancer Research. Dr. Selvaraj also serves as Chief Scientific Officer and Co-founder of Metaclipse Therapeutics Corporation, a biotech company focusing on developing personalized immunotherapy for metastatic cancer.
